Basically, the fixed flow channel is retained, and the original iron base plate is replaced with a rubber base plate. In addition, a simple eccentric actuating mechanism is added to make the rubber base plate move up and down reciprocating. The function between each slide is similar to that of the diaphragm of a jigging machine. This has thus solved the caking phenomenon of the slip grid and increased the recovery rate of gold. Because the vibrating sluice box discharges concentrate intermittently, its enrichment ratio is higher than that of the jigging machine.

Structure

The vibrating sluice box is composed of the feeding trough, the chute section, the rubber base plate, the agitator frame, the eccentric agitator system, the transmission mechanism, the frame and other parts.

Working principle

When the vibrating sluice box is in operation, the slurry enters the feeding chute, whose width is equal to that of the chute and slightly lower than the chute bed surface. This serves to buffer and distribute the slurry, preventing it from directly impacting the bed surface. The pulp is sorted after entering the chute. The chute is made of 40*40 Angle steel, with a 50mm wide steel plate on the upper edge, and forms a 0-degree Angle with the water surface, which can generate a large vortex when the slurry flows. The upper grating plate is also processed with elliptical holes, which are arranged alternately. The main function is to allow the light minerals in the sedimentary layer under the plate to be discharged from the holes under the stirring effect. A baffle iron is set at the front of the elliptical holes to prevent coarse gravel from blocking the elliptical holes.

Maintenance method

1. When cleaning the vibrating sluice box, we often check whether the rubber is worn or perforated, and see if there is any leakage or leak at the bottom. If there is any leakage, we should repair it in time.

2. Pay attention to whether each welded joint has an opening, and whether the welding position and connecting rod screws are loose.

3. Do not walk on the groove surface. Place heavy or sharp objects on the groove surface. Do not spray grease or alkaline substances on the rubber to avoid corroding it.

4. Place some sand in the trough for a long time to prevent the rubber sheet from weathering under the sun.

5. Do a good job in lubrication. Regularly apply grease and check the gear reducer oil. Check the grease application for about 15 days, and the gear oil needs to be checked every three months.
