Flotation Machine is the equipment to complete the flotation process, which is also called flotation cell. It is widely used for the rough, fine and reverse flotation operations of copper, lead, zinc, nickel, molybdenum and other non-ferrous metal, ferrous metal and nonmetal minerals. The types of flotation machine mainly include mechanical agitation flotation machine with auto air suction SF/XJK Series and mechanical agitating aeration flotation machine BS-K Series.

Working principle

When flotation machine is working, the pulp in the cell is breathed from the surrounding in the between of impellers. At the same time, the low pressure air blew by air blower enters in though air distributor too. Pulp and air mixture totally, and then enter into the cell from the impeller. When bubbles rises foam stability region, they are collected together and flow out into bubble cell. Some other pulp flows towards the bottom of impeller, and is mixed by impeller with air again to form mineral laden bubbles. The rest will flow towards next cell until leaving tailings.
